Sarah DeYoung is the creative visionary behind sarcreate (Sarah + create). She received her Bachelors of Fine Art degree in Art Education with a minor in painting. Sarah was born and raised in the beautiful Great Lakes state of Michigan. As an adult, she has grown roots in Maine, Hawai’i and Alaska.

Sarah loves mixing elements from feminine figures, plant life and funky hand drawn text. She always pulls inspiration from her passion of surfing and that shines through in her art. Sarah draws everything by hand which distinguishes her style as an illustrator graphic designer.

She is currently creating full-time as a freelance designer on Maui’s North Shore and endlessly inspired by her current home, the beautiful āina of Maui.
